Purple Carp Pyroxene
Kunzite is a type of spodumene; colorless and transparent varieties ranging from pinkish-purple are called "purple spodumene."
It was discovered in California in 1902 by George Kunz, Tiffany's chief gemologist. Kunz's discovery and Tiffany's promotion of Kunz's spodumene are largely due to its unique pinkish-purple hue, which is more sophisticated than pure pink but not as deep amethyst.
Through the crystal, unique internal ripple patterns are visible, full of charm, and it especially radiates a diamond-like phosphorescence under light, sparkling brilliantly and captivatingly.
